Aureus Automation Pte Ltd (“Aureus Automation”, “we”, “our”) is committed to handling personal data in line with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and the data-protection expectations of the jurisdictions in which we and our customers operate. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect on this website and through our direct engagements, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal data only where you choose to share it with us. In practice that means:
- Information you submit via the contact form on this website (your name, email, optional company, and message).
- Email and metadata associated with any direct correspondence you send to support@aureusautomation.com.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) generated when you visit pages on this website — used solely for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics about visits to this website, where you have not opted out of analytics cookies in your browser.
2. How we use your information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries you submit via the contact form or send by email.
- Operating, securing, and improving this website.
- Understanding aggregate visitor patterns so we can prioritise content and improvements.
- Meeting legal, regulatory, or audit obligations where applicable.
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use the information you submit to this website for advertising profiling.
3. Third-party processors
We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate this website and respond to enquiries. These providers are bound by their own data-protection commitments and process personal data only on our instructions:
- A web-hosting provider that serves the pages of this website.
- An email-delivery service that routes contact-form submissions to our internal inbox.
- A web-analytics provider for aggregated visit measurement.
4. Product accounts and online subscriptions
When you create an account for an Aureus product or buy a subscription online, we also process: your account email and the name and company you enter; your plan, payment status and usage of the product’s allowance; the content you create in the product (for example recordings, transcripts, notes, minutes, documents or media, depending on the product); and technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
We use this data to provide the product you bought, to bill it, to sign you in, to support you and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data, we do not use your content to train models, and we do not read your content except when you ask us to help with a support problem.
Product data is processed by the providers that product depends on, which may include Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel and hosting providers such as Contabo (servers), and AI service providers such as Anthropic and Deepgram (language models and speech recognition). Some of these are located outside Singapore, mainly in the United States and the European Union, and process data only to deliver their service to us under their own terms. Each product’s own privacy notice, where published, names its providers and retention periods precisely and takes precedence over this section.
Product content stays in your account until you delete it or your account; after a subscription ends we keep it for a limited period stated by the product (typically 30 days) so you can download it, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by email.
5. Data retention
We retain contact-form submissions and associated correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a reasonable record of our communication. Server logs are retained for a limited operational window (typically 30 days) before automatic deletion. Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer in anonymised form.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPA and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions where you may reside, you have rights to request access to, correction of, or withdrawal of consent for our use of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@aureusautomation.com with sufficient information for us to identify your records.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet-facing system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside of Singapore in connection with our services, we take steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection in line with PDPA Section 26.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices, our service providers, or the applicable law evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent change was made.
